When you create an expense transaction, category list is limited to expense and "no sing" categories and vice versa. That's all.

I understood your explanation but still don´t fully know the effect that putting a minus or plus sign before the category name has on the software.


Let me give you an example:


I´ve created a category caled "Monthly Subscriptions". On that one I´ve also created sub categories to expenses like Netflix, Spotify and so on...
As I know that all of them are/will become expenses, I´ve assigned a minus sign before the main category "Monthly Subscriptions".
But as far as I´m being able to test , there´s no diference in putting minus, plus, or the plus/minus before the category name.


Is it only a visual aid to easily sort categories when listing all of them?

This means that some categories are income or expense only.
