Attention! The new version is not compatible with old versions, you should update the app on all devices. Your database file will be converted to a new format, so make a backup copy of your file before updating.

What's new

Historical exchange rates. All amounts in reports, budgets, etc. are calculated using the rate that was on the day of the transaction. This option is disabled by default, so you need to enable it in the app settings and be sure to download the exchange rates for the required days (Tools - Currency exchange rates).
Unlimited nesting of accounts. Account types (e.g. Off-balance means that the account is not included in the overall balance).
Emoji as icons for categories, accounts, etc. However, on Windows they are black and white and it is not yet clear can they be colored.
Automatic calculation of the budget amount for a category, i.e. the sum of the budgets of all subcategories.
Deleting and editing individual planned transactions, not the entire template. To change a planned transaction, click "Accept" in the context menu: the actual transaction will be created and therefore can be edited.
The ability to fix an incorrect or add a missing translation into another language. The changes will be visible immediately, and we will receive a notification and fix the translation for all users in the next update.
A number of optimizations to increase the app speed.
Other small improvements such as saving the state (collapsed/expanded) of nodes in the tree.

Pro version

Access rights have been completely redesigned, now you can configure almost anything, for example, restrict access to various sections of the program, prohibit creating, editing or deleting a certain type of records, etc. The settings are very flexible.
The ability to create user groups with unlimited nesting. Access rights for a group apply to all users in this group.
Activity log with the ability to undo any edit. You can see who, when and what exactly edited, deleted or added and undo any action.

plockery If you didn't make a backup copy of your database file, as it suggested above, the only option is to update PC version of the app as well.

We've added support for physical keyboard, but unfortunately haven't one to test. In the emulator it worked fine.

I have downloaded this version for USB and i am having problems.

Not allowing me to add a new account as the OK button is not active.
I like the ability to group accounts but minimizing action is not remembered as the previous state.

I have now gone back to the previous version.

Chris the database is in read only mode. You should enter your key and restart the app after activation.
Or create a new file (open a demo database) where will be less than 200 transactions.

Good day!

Notices couple of bugs in test version of new built.

There’s a slight problem with resolution on iPhone 16 pro. Added picture as an attachment
issue 1
Unconfirmed transactions are not included in overall analysis of the account as shown on issue 2. Is this intentional? This issue is present on all versions of new Alzex that is iOS and Mac.
While making a new loan there’s no option to assign lent or borrowed money to the account.

Yes, these transactions should be confirmed or deleted. As far I know, it has always been like this.
It's intentional, It removes uncertainty. One half of the users is asking why this transaction wasn't deleted with the loan, other half is asking why it was deleted and messed all things up.

Issue is noticed when you swipe back to previous screen using swipe gesture. Visible in budget section. It doesn’t happen that often but it is.

That’s a downgrade for me. But I understand where the issue is coming from.

ah, future transactions. Yes, it's a bug.
Loans became simpler, but more flexible and powerful. Now you can repay loan or increase loan amount with any type of transaction and specify the amount. Now it's versatile tool for tracking various things. Many users are using it like that. E.g. some project, where you put money in and extract from.
