Import MoneyDance

I've tried to import MoneyDance into Alzex many times and not having much luck. I set up my Alzex New File with the same Titles, BANK/Savings as MoneyDance. Exported to QIF file and then imported but each time it comes up with funny numbers. I guess there isn't anyway to transfer the whole thing rather than one account at a time. But anyway the totals per account are way off. Maybe the transfer between accounts? Have no idea. Thanks

Under Consideration? Just want to know if there is a way to do it.

Hello,

Send us example of your QIF file and we'll check what goes wrong: support@alzex.com

Hello.

The file looks correct. You should create all accounts prior to import to proceed transfers correctly. The date format should be MM/dd/yyyy (type it in the corresponding field) and decimal separator is dot (.)

Perhaps there are several transactions on investment accounts, etc. which aren't supported, they go to the default account.

Still doesn't work..... I think my trouble is with the transfers using QIF..... All of my accounts are identical in Alzex to what I have in MoneyDance. As an example ACCOUNT EastMill Visa

When I transfer money in MoneyDance from my SAVINGS to EastMill Visa it show the transfer as [EastMill Visa] in both the SAVINGS acct and the EastMill Visa account. So what I have on a few hundred entries in Alzex is a transfer from savings to savings. Thanks

Finally have it done. Only way was to IMPORT each account separate. Leaving the Savings Acct for last. This of course gave me some duplicates which I found and deleted. Also after downloading the Savings account I downloaded again the accounts that were giving me trouble. After about 3 hours I have it all complete. Thanks for all your help.
