No longer synching between Android and Windows PC

Howdy.

I use Alzex predominantly on my Samsung Galaxy Note 5, but also have the Windows version installed on my PC with Windows 10.

The Android version is set to sync to Google drive and the Windows version is set to sync with that service as well, but the Windows version will simply not pick up changes to the file now no matter what I do.

Are there known issues?? I have tried manual synching as well as Auto, but it just doesn't work any more - it use to, but not now.

This is incredibly frustrating.

So now, everything looks fine, but nothing is syncing with OneDrive-neither on the PC or phone.

So...now I'm trying OneDrive, but it does not show on my phone (it did create a folder on my computer) I'm attaching a screen shot of what my phone app looks like -- I can' t find how to switch it to OneDrive to sync.

So that's the problem, I don't have a 'Google Folder' on my PC. (Dropbox made one, but you said that doesn't work with the desktop software?)

After some research, I'm wondering if the fact that I used an old email years ago to work offline in Google, and that email cannot be changed, could be the problem. I've sent in a request to Google to see if I can fix that. So I think Google is the issue, not your software. If you have any suggestions however, I'd love to hear them.

So go to Google Drive folder, find your document (data base) here and open it (double click)

I DO have google drive, and it was also working fine between phones but not with the PC version. I read on your website that Dropbox works better than Drive so I switched. Dropbox also worked fine on phone app.

Can you just explain how the sync works with the desktop and google drive? I'm tech savvy and just need to know what the process is because maybe I messed it up while trying to set it all up. Is it syncing from a folder on my PC? And HOW does the PC part sync automatically? It hasn't so I can't see how to fix it.

You should install Google Drive app on your PC: https://www.google.com/drive/download/
And you can, of course, add scheduled entries on Android. Tap on button near the date to set up a schedule.

Ok, switched it to Google drive again, it shows up there after syncing my phone. The file also shows up on my PC in the "documents" folder. I don't understand your instructions, "and cloud contents will appear on your PC like ordinary folder)."

What does that mean? When I click on the file in Google Drive in order to open Alzex on my PC, it doesn't open, I have to download it, then open it. How does THAT file get synced back to Google Drive? It's not happening. So anything I do on my PC is not backed up/synced with Google Drive.

All I need to do on my PC is put in Scheduled entries since I don't see that option on the Android version, correct? If I could do that I my phone, I wouldn't need the PC version at all (although I did pay $25 for it so I would like it to work).

Desktop versions doesn't support sync via Dropbox. You should simply put your file in a cloud and work with it from mobile and PC simultaneously: https://www.alzex.com/help/synchronization.html

Please explain the process of HOW the desktop syncs with Dropbox. Dropbox syncs with my phone, but it doesn't on my PC and I don't understand how and when it syncs (there is no 'sync' button there as there is in the phone app.)

Dropbox is available in Premium version only. There was a bug and Dropbox was enabled for some users. Now it's fixed.

There is no update in Pay store and I have it for automatic update. I did uninstall and install it again and it does not synchronize. What is strange is that in the synchronization definitions Drop box has a drawing of a locker and when I press it it ask for that I buy the Premium Version.
Why is that?
It was working normally. Do I need to change from Drop box to Google Drive? Witch I can choose and it does not ask for the Premium Version!

Try to use Dropbox, Google Drive sometimes doesn't work well.

My experience is, that the sync only works if the second database is a copy from the first database, as i understand there is an internal ID which must be the same in both databases. If doing so sync works quite well in my case (except of autosync in android which is not really working).
