Personal Finances invalid database

I receive
this message after trying to open the PF, running the regular file.
I can
recall the backup, but then the system responds that my version is unregistered,
and I have the registration code.
When I fill
the registration code, it’s not recognized.

What could
be the problem?

Is there a reason why the file became "invalid" ?? Could I send it to you to possibly recover ??
It's only our TRAVEL 2015 accounts, nothing really important except our spending & upcoming bills ... other than that not sensitive information :-)

Yes, .. although I cannot open any tabs other than "file" & "help" since data base is invalid ... I opened a new one & the standard settings show "weekly" backup & folder "backup" that you pointed me to ...
Unfortunately there is no "backup" folder there ....

Check, is automatic backup enabled, frequency and target folder in application settings.

Thanks for your quick reply ... I've checked the folder and it ONLY contains 1 folder "usericons" which contain sample icon & readme txt file ....
I was unaware that there may have been/is a problem with backups. No message saying can't backup .....
Does this mean I'm stuffed ?? :-(

Hello,
Try to restore database from the backup. Backup copies are created automatically and located in my documents\Personal Finances\Backup folder.
