Accounts no longer display on Windows 11 & update not not installing properly.

I have got problem with the software on Windows 11. My Accounts no longer display, only the overview.
There is a notice that an update is available (7.1 but I already have 7.1.5 installed). When I try to install it the process seems to go through but upon opening my finance file it comes up with update available again.

I also have the IOS app on my Ipad and everything displays properly there when I open the same file.

Can you solve the windows problem for me please?

Click on the star button at the bottom of the accounts list to display all accounts instead of favorites-only.

The latest version is 7.1.7. Perhaps you have two copies of the app installed in the system.

I discovered I had duplicate files in different places. I think the software was linked to different files in some way which seems to have caused the problem. Once I deleted the duplicates the update installed properly and now says version is 7.1.7 while "update available" has disappeared.
