Since the last Windows update (7.1.4) the auto-synchronisation option in settings un-ticks itself
Perhaps it was disabled from another device.
I have one Windows and one Android device.
Auto-sync is set on Android
It has always been set on Windows - but since last update of Windows version it disables itself

Documents library is mapped to G:\Data\My Docs
Try to click “unlink account” button and set up sync again.

This should be done on all devices.
Done - I'll keep an eye on it and see if that has sorted it

So yesterday I wiped data from Android and set up sync from scratch
Was working fine yesterday but this morning I am getting "synchronisation failed" on Android
Still having issues
I have emailed you with details
So I have reset the synchronisation which is now working fine
However under Settings/Synchronization the Automatic Synchronization box unticks itself (usually have to set it once a day)
